Publisher Studio

Publisher Studio is where you turn a project into a document you can hand to someone: a proposal, a report, a public page. It's free, and it works on the same nodes and connectors as Space Studio, so nothing is copied.

Getting there: click Publisher in the middle of the top bar, or press [I]. [Ctrl+Tab] flips between Space and Publisher, even while you're typing.

The two panels

  • Left: the graph, where each node is a page. Drag the edge between the panels to resize them.
  • Right: the page editor. Click a node and its page opens here.

The hub page

The first time you open Publisher on a project, Filamental asks you to Choose a hub page: a Blank page (new), or one of your best-connected nodes. The hub is the document's home page. To change it, right-click a node and pick Make home hub page.

The toolbar under the graph

Dark Energy [1], Group [5], UFO Spin, Present, Insert (+) for a New Page, Webpage or File, Connect [C], Grid [G], Physics, and Smaller text / Larger text for the graph labels you share.

Keys that work here

[C], [1] and [5], plus [2] / [3], [G], [T], [F], [Space] and [Shift+R], work as they do in Space Studio, and a letter typed into a page is just a letter. Layers [4] and Pathfinder [R] are Space Studio only. See Keyboard Shortcuts.

What's here

  • Writing Pages: the paragraph styles, the slash menu, links, panels, covers, titles and the page footer.
  • Inserting Media: images, Pexels photos, video and crop.
  • Page Style: one font, size, width and palette for the whole document.
  • Sharing a Document: shared links, passwords, and pushing changes.
