Tips

O and P show and hide the left and right panels.
Alt+drag from one node onto another connects them.
2 and 3 switch between the flat plane and full 3D.
T hides every label at once, for when someone is reading over your shoulder.
G shows and hides the grid.
Shift+Enter puts a subtitle line under a node’s title.
Escape gets you out of almost any mode.
Pop out a node’s notes into their own window and move them to a second screen.
Bridges join two spaces, and never count against the free plan’s node limit.
Ctrl+Alt+1 to 3 set headings while you are writing in the notepad.

Our YouTube channel is where the moving version of this documentation lives, and the list of tutorials is growing. Short and specific: how to lay a space out, what each of the two studios is for, how to hand a finished structure to somebody who has never opened Filamental. No preamble, and no ten minute introduction in front of the useful part.

Two lists are worth knowing about. Help & How-to is the short specific end, and it is the one that keeps growing. Gallery is the longer end: product demonstrations, and the films that run on this site, kept together in one place.
